Collections that sound like you
Most late payments in a small studio are not disputes. The invoice went to someone who left, the PO number was missing, or it sat in a queue nobody owns. A reminder that arrives two days early fixes most of them.
The sequence
- Two days before the due date: a short note with the invoice attached and the payment details.
- On the due date: nothing, unless the invoice hasn't been opened.
- Seven days after: a polite reminder to the billing contact, copying the person who approved the work.
- Fourteen days after: a note to you with a suggested message to send yourself.
Your voice, approved once
You choose how direct the messages are and approve the wording once. Aupilot keeps to it and never threatens late fees unless your contract says so.
